Spending a day or having a date with your husband can be very healthy and fun. Doing something a little different from the norm and spending time together is very important to do from time to time.
M and I went out for a little drive today, out to Julian, California. We picked up a tasty Apple Pie, some candy, gambled away $35 at Viejas, and so on...

It was different, fun and I can't wait for the next adventure!

Be apart for three weeks?!
You bet!
Holidays came and went. I went to my Dads in Europe, and Matt stayed home. I was sad to say goodbye but excited to come home.

The hardest part was keeping in contact here and there. There is a big time difference and when I was ready to chat Matt was ready for bed, and vice versa!

But Christmas day was the best! We set up the Skype and video chat through part of the Christmas day. It was really neat and funny to see how nerdy Matt could get.

Anyways, It can be done!
But next time he's coming with me!

And They Say the First Year of Marriage is the Hardest . . . I don't think it was hard at all!
